Freshman Year- In Review
Freshman Year was a whirlwind of changes and excitement. Starting off my first year at my dream school could not have gone any better. Once on campus I became an active member of the UC Bearcat Bands, a Bearcat Buddy tutor, and became involved in the H20 Church community. After my first semester of college, due to my good grades, I was able to transition into the University Honors program. By the end of the second semester of freshman year, with a cumulative 3.96 GPA, I was invited to join the Lindner College of Business Circle of Excellence. However, excellence did not come easy for me. I knew how much I wanted to succeed, and therefore, I strived for greatness in each step. In addition to my schoolwork, I took my own initiative to seek out study abroad opportunities. After a thoughtful application and research process, working extensively with advisers Ryan Meyer and Jenn Lewis, and careful planning; I was able to make studying abroad in Italy a reality. Freshman year summer I have spent earning money for Italy, completing the Italian Study Visa, and other pre-travel processes. I am proud of how far I have come in a year and am excited for the next leg of the journey.
